Alison Krauss

The beginning of the popular recognition came from bluegrass fiddler Alison Krauss in 1990 when she was 19, she took home at the Grammy Awards with the trophy for Best Bluegrass Album. It was a feat of awe and not only because Krauss was young, as well because I've Got That Old Feeling was the third album in her catalog. The first album, Too Late to Cry it was released in the year that the Champaign, Illinois, native was 16; she had agreed to sign a contract with Rounder Records--one the top folk music labels on the market--at the age of 14. Krauss was always renowned for her amazing virtuosity and accomplishments, even in her early years. She is a fervent supporter of bluegrass music, one of the most traditional and underrated genres of the American music, has also been an ongoing thing. Krauss was now a mature performer and producer who had gained experience from her time as a teenager star. Alison Alison Alison
