Suzanne Pleshette

SuzanneSuzanne Pleshette was an American actress, voice, and film actor. She lived from January 31st, 1937 until January 19th of 2008. Pleshette began her theatre career and was in films by the late 1950s. Later, she was prominent in film roles such as Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (633) and Spirited Away (11). From 1972 to 1978 Pleshette was a regular guest in a variety of television shows. She was also a part of Emily Hartley, which earned her numerous Emmy Award nominations. Pleshette is the daughter of Geraldine (nee Kaplan),[1 and Eugene Pleshette, was born January 31, 1937 in Brooklyn Heights. The parents of the couple were Jewish immigrants from Russia and Austria-Hungary. Her mother was an artist, dancer and choreographer who performed under the stage name Geraldine Rivers. Her father was the stage manager for the Paramount Theater, Manhattan, and the Paramount Theater, Brooklyn.
