Aunjanue An. Ellis Taylor is an American producer and actress. She has an BA in African-American Studies from Brown University as well as an MFA in Acting from the Tisch School of the Arts New York University. Aunjanue Ellis. Ellis, an American producer and actress who has performed in theatre as well as television and film productions well, is present across both sides of the screen. She began her acting career with theater, and was later featured in numerous shows on television as well as independent and mainstream films. Her most well-known role was Miranda Shaw, a character on ABC's Quantico. The BET's epic series The Book of Negroes she was a character. For her work on television she has been praised for her role in the role of a character who is a regular on ABC's cop drama High Incident.
